Blossom Cotton is Fabric Mega Store's versatile, 100% cotton plain-weave fabric. Its quilting weight works for a wide range of everyday sewing projects, from patchwork and gifts to home accents.
What's the difference between the two widths?
Both options are Blossom Cotton. The 45" option is standard width; the 118" option is extra wide. More width can reduce the number of panels you need to join for a larger project. Choose based on your pattern, layout, and finished dimensions.
Can I use the 118" width for quilt backing?
Yes, the extra-wide option is a useful choice for quilt backing. Measure your quilt and allow the extra fabric your quilter requests on every side. A 118" width is not a guarantee of a seamless back for every quilt size.
How should I care for Blossom Cotton?
Use a gentle wash cycle with cool water and a mild, phosphate-free detergent. Tumble dry on low and iron on the reverse. Secure raw edges before washing to help limit fraying, and test your care routine on a small piece before washing a finished project.
Can I change the size or colors of a print?
Look for the Customize Print Size and Customize Colors options on eligible product pages. Check the available options for your chosen design before ordering.
Will the printed colors match my screen exactly?
Screen settings and lighting can change how colors appear. Fabric and a backlit screen also show color differently, so an exact screen-to-fabric match isn't guaranteed. Contact us before ordering if a precise color match is important to your project.
